Scholarship Recipient 2014 - Jory Charles

As an incredibly fortunate two-time recipient of The Mary Hartwell scholarship, the award has helped me pursue my passion in the field of nutrition.

My award in 2013 gave me financial assistance to complete my studies at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN). My program there was amazing; teaching us about human anatomy, disease in the human body, and how to use good nutrition to help support the body in healing itself. I graduated in March 2014 with the designation of Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N)

I am planning on using my scholarship funds from 2014 to complete my studies at the New School for Inspired Work, which is operated by one of my teachers from CSNN. The program is designed to help students get empowered in creating their own self-employment. I have been using the program to gain tools in opening my own Nutrition business (You Matter Nutrition).
